The Bad: Vince's temper - It's ridiculous when you're trying to be social and start approaching in situations you didn't before to have a SHORT OLD MAN THAT LOOKS LIKE A CAT RESURRECTED FROM THE PET CEMETERY AFTER BEING SPRAY PAINTED BY PRANKSTER KIDS - YELLING AT YOU ANGRILY about what HE THINKS you should do. The description is totally accurate. Look at Vince Kelvin's physical appearance:

''If I pay the self proclaimed PUA then he will give me magic powers, so that I can stay fat, nerd, ..., and at the same time be successful with women.'' And when the majority of the guys get out of their trance, they're sitting on their sofa, mentalizing, looping on the fact that they lost more than $1000 without actual results. |

Now either you are making an implied argument that nothing from any guru would work, or you're ignoring the ones who do offer advice that works because it does not fit your world view. If you argue that nothing can work, then you're arguing that there is no such thing as "technique," and that human behavior is essentially random. In that case, you'd be aruging that every major university in the world with a sociology and/or psychology department is teaching something that does not exist. |

I'm drawing inferences from the permise that the material is not worth what people charge for it. If it worked for those who use it properly, then it's worth what people pay for it. A gym membership can expirre unused, with no results for the customer, and that's not the fault of the gym.
I'm saying that these complaining customers went in with an attitude that made it impossible for them to get what they claim to seek, which is improved results with women. Much like the hot chick who chooses men in a way that weeds out decent men. Do you acknowledge that there are valid methods out there which are worth what people charge for them? Do you think every last metohd must fail? If so, you're arguing against technique, and anyone's ability to develop it. |

Still, there is nothing wrong IN THEORY with charging $1k for advice, if the advice works. To point to X guru and say their method doesn't work doesn't change that there are those whose ideas do work. With people placing sytle (marketing) over substance (results), this will occur only by accident. Given that men spend up to 25k a night for an SHB hooker, the information on how to get them into bed is obviously worth a ton. Since most SHBs do have sex with men, somewhere out there are men who have figured out something very valuable. |
