They were fame-whores. Didn't they all claim their fifteen minutes after The Game was published? Strauss said they'd do ANYTHING for fame, didn't he? What hapepend?

2) Strauss wrote for Rolling Stone. Some women will do quite a bit to gain access to handsome celebrities(ok, most women will!!)

Right, women are social-climbing whores. The original community was about overcoming statuts and wealth deficiencies, or proving the limits of lifestyle game. Now it's all they seem to have left to teach. Strauss wrote the bio of a porn star and a rock star and had trouble with women? Why didn't he write about his extensive failures to show the reader the common mistakes he made? It's interesting to see how the gurus fuck up as much as how they get laid.

3) Strauss claims to have gotten the number of a Playboy Playmate, but he didn't sleep with her! He says he got "interest" from Britney but they never actually slept together.

Strauss was demonstrating the value of an emotional connection, though he couldn't escalate to a sexual one. He was correct on one level, but that's actually something most AFCs already know how to achieve. What Strauss probably overlooked is that one reason the women felt so comfortable opening up to him was that they knew barriers to sex existed, so they wouldn't have to reject him. Kevin Federline got two kids out of Britney, and he didn't do it with "game."

4) Lisa Leveridge was obscure before she slept with Strauss. Furthermore, she broke up with him months later after hooking up with the musician-singer Robbie Williams... who she may have met through Strauss! Lisa was 36(!) when she slept with Strauss and in my opinion she cynically used him to boost her own profile. She must have known he was writing a book at the time she slept with him...

Doubtful. Guys like Strauss are a dime a dozen in LA, even when famous, and rich guys line up around the block for most hot women under forty. Considering that she got Robbie Williams after Strauss, I think Lisa was doing just fine on her own.
Had she been a fresh-faced college freshman, however, it would have been more impressive. Had she been a woman he loved before he slept with, rather than the one he wanted among those he already fucked, that too would have been an improvement, in my opinion.
